The team will create a near zero input farm facility that will function as a global model to provide food resilience solutions. The installation will involve STEM educational outreach while providing high-level social impact potential for the region.

The team will showcase an integrated, easy to install and easy to use "plug and play" vertical garden unit that can be implemented and monitored virtually anywhere

Ponix and Food Chain


Ponix is focused on reclassifying food as a utility by developing solutions for end-to-end local food ecosystems. Ponix will demo its solution for local and transparent food production in Farmbox Foods’ 40 feet controlled environment agriculture (CEA) farm. The farm will grow produce year-round, be controlled remotely through PonixOS and set a new standard for the way food is produced and distributed in cities.

Urban Sprouts Farm, MUSCAH and YoGardener

MμSCAH is a Mixed-use Shipping Container Affordable Housing concept meant to be a community improvement center dedicated to raising up local urban populations through crowdfunded investment and collaboration between the business, philanthropic and public.



WUNDERgrubs will harvest grubs as a micro-livestock that will then be manufactured into insect food products that are healthy and tasty, plus pack a nutritional punch.
